VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd and Tampere University jointly form a competence centre of smart machines and manufacturing that builds the future of Finnish manufacturing industry with the main focus on smart machines and smart manufacturing.
SMACC (Smart Machines and Manufacturing Competence Centre) offers fast solutions, diverse expertise and a large cooperation network, especially for SMEs. The competence centre strengths the development of the industry's ecosystem and provides one-stop access to high-level research expertise.
SMACC operates as a core of the Smart Manufacturing DIH (Digital Innovation Hub) in Finland. With the DIH network, SMACC offers access to a wide range of actors and funding opportunities for Finnish companies. For other DIH actors and their network, we offer our competence in the field of smart manufacturing.
